Open for therapies
Just a quick post to let you know that I am permitted to remain open during this second lockdown period 😀
Businesses allowed to continue working include “other medical or health services, including services relating to mental health”. Thankfully we’ve had confirmation that the therapy services I practise have been categorised under this heading. Both of my professional associations, the voluntary regulator and my insurance have all confirmed we’re good to go.
This is great news! And I’m absolutely delighted that I can still offer support and assistance to those who need it.
Any rules or regs?
The first is that the treatment must be “supporting a client who has a physical or mental health condition”. This means that if you were thinking you just fancied a treat or some relaxation, I’m going to have to ask you to wait until after the lockdown. However, the vast majority of my clients come because they need help with either a physical or mental health issue. So please be assured I’m still here and available.
The second is that all the strict hygiene, cleaning and ppe protocols remain in place. Rest assured they do and check out my previous post here to see a little bit more about what’s in place for your safety.

Please don’t wait and let conditions worsen over time. If you need some help, get in touch and let’s get you back on track.
